ProfitZoom Hosts Successful 2025 User Conference in Atlanta

We were thrilled to welcome clients from across the country to the 2025 PZ User Conference! Held October 9–10 at the Paramount Ballroom in Atlanta, the two-day event brought together service managers, executives, and field leaders for hands-on sessions, platform insights, and an exclusive peek at what’s next for ProfitZoom (PZ).

A Deep Dive into the Future of PZ

The conference opened Thursday evening with a company overview and strategy review. The welcome reception that followed immediately set an exciting tone for an event centered on forward-thinking discussions and the platform’s future.

Friday morning focused on product updates, where attendees heard directly from the Valens team about the innovations shaping the next phase of PZ:

  • The PZ Ascend Experience – The next generation of our platform built on an updated look and feel with a modern technology stack. It brings front-office sales, back-office financials, and field operations together in an intuitive interface that reduces clicks and increases efficiency.
  • Schedule Board – A new dispatching experience in PZ Ascend that gives teams real-time control through a drag-and-drop interface, integrated map view for route optimization, and smart summaries to help dispatchers manage fieldwork more easily.
  • CRM and Quoting – Expands PZ to support sales teams with built-in CRM functionality, making it easy to manage contacts, track deals, and generate quotes directly within the platform.
  • Integrations Hub – A centralized place to connect third-party systems such as Billtrust and Concur, simplifying automation for AR and AP teams.

Practical Track Sessions

Friday afternoon was all about helping clients make the most of the features already at their fingertips.

Financial Track showcased tools to improve billing accuracy, manage job closeouts, and simplify Accounts Receivable. Sessions demonstrated how Consolidated Invoicing, Credit and Rebill, and enhanced Contract Billing streamline financial processes today while laying the foundation for future automation.

Operations Track focused on field efficiency. Highlights included updates to mobile inspection forms (such as required templates, enhanced deficiency components, and photo printing), streamlined workflows for portable equipment, and new technician-friendly tools like barcode scanning and material favorites.

Innovation and the Future of AI

Innovation took center stage with highlights from the Valens developer hackathon, where teams presented prototypes exploring how AI can enhance PZ. Concepts included an AI-powered chat tool for instant user support and a predictive model that anticipates equipment deficiencies to help companies stay proactive.

Moving Forward Together

The 2025 PZ User Conference was defined by collaboration, connection, and shared excitement for what’s ahead. The exchange of ideas and best practices between clients and the Valens team underscored the partnership driving the continued evolution of PZ Ascend.
